This page describes how the Host and Coordinator create a new conversation—an instance of the conversational couplet.

Procedures

Create Zoom Meeting

Role: Host

• Use the Zoom interface to schedule the plenary conversation.

• Do not send meeting invitations from Zoom. The meeting details will be provided to Participants via the enrollment confirmation email.

• Note the key meeting details:

  • Start time

  • Meeting link

Create Interview Script

Role: Host

• Script the interview questions.

• Use the Interview Question Generator app found here for ideas.

Submit New Conversation

Role: Host

• Open the Create a Conversation Zapier Interface form.
• Enter your email address and click Get login code.

• Enter the code and click Log in.

• Enter the following information in the form (use the Mountain Time Converter to convert all times to Mountain Time):

  • Topic

  • Meeting date

  • Meeting link

  • Enrollment deadline

  • Interview deadline

  • Interview script

  • Maximum Participants

• Click Submit.

Create Conversation Record

Submitting the New Conversation form triggers these Zaps:

• Add New Conversation to Conversations Table

• Send New Conversation Notification to Coordinator
