Log in to VideoAsk

Create a VideoAsk Folder

Role: Coordinator

• Click New folder.

• Enter the Host's organization name.

• Click Create.

Click New videoask

• Select Start from scratch.

• Enter "Interview Template" as the title.

• Toggle Collect contact details to the off position.

• Click Create videoask.

• Click Add video later.

• Click Close sidebar (X).

Update the Settings

• Click the Settings (gear) icon.

• See VideoAsk Settings for recommended settings.

Configure a Welcome Step

• Navigate to the Build view.

• Select the default question step.

• Select the Answers tab.

• Use the Step Configuration settings.
• Select the Video tab.

• Edit the Title to read "Welcome."

• Add the following to the Overlay text: Welcome, {{first_name}}!

• Click Edit notes.

• Add the following to the Notes (script) field: "Please answer a few questions so our conversation will be as productive as possible."

• Click Done.

Edit the End Screen Step

• Select the End screen panel in the Build view.

• Enter the End screen title test: Thanks!

• Enter the End screen text: I'll send you a summary of all participants' answers before we meet.

• Click Done.

Add URL Parameters

• Return to the Inbox.

• Select the Interview Template.

• Click Share & Embed.

• Click Add variables.

• Click Add custom variable

  • Enter and save enrollment_id.

  • Enter and save first_name.

• Close (X) the popup widow.

Add Host as VideoAsk Team Member

Role: Coordinator

• Log in to VideoAsk.

• Click the Account & Org settings icon.

• Select Team.

• Click the Add member icon.

• Enter the Host's email.

• Select Specific folders.

• Select the Host's folder created in the previous step.

• Click Invite.
